What immediately caught attention during the show was the absolute lack of minimalism in the approach to detail and color. Instead of seeking subdued solutions, the designer challenged conventions, serving up a joyful explosion of unique colors (some, like an unusual shade of green from Venetian slippers, didn't even have a name yet in the creator's studio!). The proposals included expressive miniature cardigans, "falling" dresses, asymmetrical cuts, and materials imitating dense feathers or jacquards resembling exclusive wallpapers. Burch played with contrasts, combining military trench coats and oversized suits straight from the 1940s with delicate hand-painted silks into one cohesive and casual wardrobe.
Bold Jewelry – The Power of Massive Shapes
Tory Burch once again proved that high fashion lies in accessories, and the New York show provided a huge dose of inspiration in the field of jewelry and accessories. This season, the key motif turned out to be BOLD – large, massive jewelry that doesn't hide in the background but plays the leading role. Fashionistas' attention was drawn to metallic, expressive ankle bracelets adorned with the characteristic Double-T logo and oversized earrings (including those in the shape of shark teeth). The SS27 runway also featured heavy chains in the form of belts and rich embellishments in the form of scattered, shimmering beads and crystals on creations and handbags (so-called scattered beading). Our massive gold and silver spheres perfectly fit into this jewelry landscape of maximalism created by the New York fashion scene.
